An Further Education College, in partnership with Morgan Hunt, is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Dog Grooming Lecturer to join their teaching team.
Position Details:- Role: Dog Grooming Lecturer
- Qualification Level: Minimum Level 3 in Animal Care or equivalent
- Location: Birmingham
- Job Type: Part-time/Full-time (based on candidate availability)
- Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience
- Teach & Inspire: Deliver engaging and informative lessons in dog grooming and animal care, ensuring students gain hands-on, practical experience.
- Curriculum Development: Help develop and update the curriculum, ensuring it meets industry standards and covers best practices in dog grooming and animal welfare.
- Mentorship: Act as a mentor and role model, providing guidance and support to students in their academic and career paths.
- Assessments & Reporting: Conduct assessments, give constructive feedback, and report on student progress.
- Qualification: Level 3 or higher in Animal Care or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in dog grooming, ideally in a professional setting, and familiarity with grooming techniques and tools.
- Teaching Advantage: Prior teaching or training experience is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for Animals: A strong commitment to animal welfare
