Driving licence and Passport required- You must be adaptable, conscientious, hardworking and motivated from an Engineering background.
Responsibilities
Inspect all goods in to ensure that they meet the required standards.
Utilise AutoCAD to check incoming and inhouse produced work against engineering drawings.
Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suit, in particular MS Excel to check the status of orders.
Inspect internal work completed before going out for any subcontracting process to be completed and re-inspect when it comes back completed.
Work alongside the Shop Floor Charghand to ensure fabrications completed are of the required standard before going on to assembly.
Identify the cause of poor standard work received and work alongside other departments to ensure that our suppliers are of the highest quality standards.
Produce reports on Quality Standards throughout the business and set standards for both companies personnel and work that is sub contracted.
Work with team members to maximise productivity and efficiency.
Work closely with the Procurement Manager to highlight and resolve issues quickly
What you will need is - HNC in Mechanical Engineering, 3 years exp in similar role, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD and you will be flexible to work away both in the UK and Overseas (ALL expensives paid for)
