Main duties and responsibilities Clinical 1. To develop and maintain a high standard of knowledge and practical experience in dietetics. 2. To provide nutritional therapy, education and support to inpatients of MKUH Education 1. To be proactive in identifying and addressing the educational needs of patients and carers including health professionals from other disciplines. 2. To assist in providing training and guidance for members of the multidiscipliniary team. Clinical Governance 1. To work within the Code of Practice of the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the guidelines and policies of the HCPC and the British Dietetic Association 2. To work within the requirements of the Acute Trust policies and procedures.
