Teaching Assistant Level 2 plus possible SEN
Required: From January 2025
Salary: Grade D, Points 6-11 £25,183 - £27,269 per annum pro-rata
Actual Salary £18,213 - £19,721 per annum
Hours: 31 ¼ hours per week term time plus 5 days
Status: Fixed-term until July 2025 may be extended for 12 months

The staff and Governors at St Peter & St Paul’s RC Primary School are looking for an experienced and outstanding Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our very popular, oversubscribed school. There is also the possibility of an additional SEN allowance for the right person. The role will involve working with children on a 1:1 basis and knowledge/experience of working with children with SEN/SEMH would be an advantage. We are a multi-cultural school which has a vibrant and caring Catholic Ethos running through everything that we do. Believes learning should be fun
Can use their initiative to work independently and flexibly in the classroom environment
Is caring and flexible and who has experience of working with children from all walks of life
Will share our commitment for inclusion, developing the best possible learning and pastoral environment for all children and ensure all children reach their potential
Will enjoy working as part of our excellent staff team
Is able to support the class teacher, and SENDCO if necessary in all aspects
Enjoys playing outside in all sorts of weathers
Has good personal numeracy and literacy skills and has an awareness of the school curriculum.
