We currently have a exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our in-patient ward Lavender at the Zinnia Centre in Sparkhill which is a female acute inpatient ward. This post may also require the successful candidate to move to other wards within the locality.
Healthcare Assistants provide a key role across our wards and services, providing vital care and support to our service users. Under the guidance of a qualified nurses, our Healthcare Assistants assist in assessments, provide social and therapeutic activities for service users, assist them with daily living activities and ensure the smooth running of the ward. Their contribution to the running of an effective service is crucial and they are a key part of the team.
We expect all our Healthcare Assistants to uphold our Trust values, especially around compassion and dignity and respect. Therefore, we are looking for kind, empathic, caring individuals who have experience of working in a healthcare setting, ideally in mental health services.
We are offering permanent roles with the need to work shifts including weekends, days and nights.
