Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Graphic Web Developer with a strong background in graphic design and front-end web development. This role is UK Home Office sponsorship compliant and open to qualified candidates needing visa sponsorship. The ideal candidate will be passionate about combining design with technology to bring our brand and vision to life across our digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Web Design & Development: Develop visually engaging, responsive websites and web pages that align with the Mortgage Magic™ brand.
Graphic Design: Design web-based graphics, including logos, banners, and icons, to maintain brand consistency and create a visually appealing experience.
User Experience (UX): Collaborate with the UX/UI team to design and refine user interfaces that enhance user journeys across our platform.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with content writers, digital marketers, and back-end developers to ensure functional and aesthetic consistency across digital assets.
Testing & Debugging: Conduct regular tests to identify and fix compatibility, usability, and functionality issues across devices and browsers.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all web assets meet accessibility standards, data protection requirements, and web compliance standards.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Graphic Web Developer or similar role, ideally within fintech or digital agency environments.
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
Skilled in graphic design software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
Experience with WordPress, CMS platforms, and front-end frameworks (React, Angular).
Familiarity with SEO best practices and UX fundamentals.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility.
