Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Power and Distribution Transformer manufacturer in their search for a Machine Operative in their workshop based in Leeds.
For the successful Machine Operative our client is offering:
• Salary up to £35,841 (Shift Dependant)
• Day Shift: Monday to Friday 0600 -1400, £28,665 p/annum
• Evening Shift: Monday to Friday 1400 - 2200, £35,841 p/annum
• Rotating Shifts: Alternate Weeks of Days and Evening - £32,200 approx. per/annum
• Permanent
• Benefits: 25 Days holiday per year, BUPA Wellbeing packages, Cycle to work scheme, Death in service, Company pension 3% employees contribute 5%
The role – Machine Operative:
• Setting up and operating various coil winding machines to produce coils to specifications detailed on production drawing
• Winding of different types of transformer coils
• Ensure all quality control and customer specific documentation has been completed to specification
What our client is looking for in a Machine Operative :
• Ability to use winding machinery whilst ensuring precision and specification of the wind
• Experience Sought: Joinery, Wirers, Panel Wiring, Production Work from drawing , mechanical bias experience – ESSENTIAL
• Able to stand for long periods of time for the production of the coil winding – ESSENTIAL
• Ability to read engineering drawings
