We are looking for a Sous Chef to support this Head Chef and her brilliant kitchen team at this historic Pub, situated in the centre of the Cotswolds.

The seasonal menus are ever changing with whatever can sourced from their local butcher, fish monger, local game dealers & farmers. They believe in delivering core pub classics on their menu with the addition of interesting but simple dishes celebrating classic British food, offal & game. Everything is freshly prepared everyday by the team.

This gorgeous pub celebrates all things British. On the menu? Expect simple, hearty fare such as devilled kidneys on toast, venison lasagne, and sticky toffee pudding, served in a relaxed setting in the heart of the market town. The pub remains true to its ‘local’ purpose, with drinkers welcome and pub classics served alongside the likes of iberico pork bavette with asparagus and romesco sauce, and cote de boeuf to share.

The current Owners have been really successful with great reviews and awards, including GQ best pub of the year 2022, Times best pub of the year 2022 and a Michelin Bib Gourmand at one of their other other Pubs, which they have held for the last five years. They are equally (if not more) happy to say we have built teams both FOH & BOH at both sites that have now been with us a long time

They are keen to employ a Sous Chef who is keen to get stuck into anything, and works well within a small family style team. Good classic nose to tail, classic British pub style food, plenty of game and offal and very little 'mucking around'..!
