Clinical Governance Facilitators – Clinical Governance & Risk Team
Part-time 29.7hrs per week, Substantive contract (Ref: 198252)
Band 4 Salary Range £29,116 - £31,670 per annum plus pro rata
Distant islands Allowance of £2,380 per annum pro rata
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative and technical support for a range of clinical governance activities eg clinical audit, clinical effectiveness, patient surveys as well as supporting the overall requirements of risk and adverse event management.
The postholder will provide advice and guidance for staff on the use of appropriate quality improvement tools and techniques to support projects in clinical practice.
The postholder will also ensure that all necessary databases are maintained to facilitate statistical information gathering for quality improvement reporting requirements to ensure that information can be provided to the NHS Board and Integration Joint Board in a timely manner.
A significant degree of diplomacy, tact and confidentiality is essential in this role, together with an overall awareness of team priorities and competing workload demands.
The successful candidate with be qualified to SVQ/RSA 3 level in a relevant subject and will have relevant administrative/ project experience. You will need to be proficient in use of software systems including databases and spreadsheets and be able to demonstrate advanced keyboard skills. With good organisational and communication skills, you will need to be confident dealing with a range of professionals and managers across the NHS Board.
