The Tenancy Management Vision:-
A person centred and professional service, which enables and empowers staff & residents to manage their homes and neighbourhoods effectively, as well as providing timely and appropriate support.
Thurrock Council seeks a self-motivated person, with the ability to problem solve. Successful applicants will be required to manage an area of housing stock involving all matters of tenancy and some locality-based services.
Reporting to the Tenancy Services Team Manager, the post-holder will work as part of an area team to provide a complete housing management and local service to the residents of the area and will maintain the area to the standard required by the Council. In order to provide the above, the post-holder will ensure flexibility, mobility, and the gaining of experience in all aspects of housing management.
Duties can include and are not limited to-
- Letting of new tenancies/ending of tenancies
- Managing tenancy changes
- Introductory Tenancy Reviews
- Resident engagement
- Partnership working with other agencies and teams
- Prioritising Tenancy sustainment
- Tenancy enforcement
- Tenancy/Property Audits
- Estate management
