The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a diligent and hard-working Superintendent to join the dedicated team of staff that take care of and nurture the children and families in the community. We are looking for a confident, enthusiastic and committed member of staff who is able to support the smooth, orderly running of our wonderful school. As superintendent, you will work closely with the school’s office managers and headteacher. You will be responsible for maintaining the high standards across our school. We are looking for someone who enjoys staying busy and has basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, gardening, cleaning and general maintenance tasks. Organisational skills, a positive outlook, and efficiency are essential for this role. The position is very hands-on, with each day bringing a mix of different tasks.The successful candidate will:
Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
Have a passion for ensuring that children have the highest quality environment to learn in. Have a range of maintenance skills.
Show a willingness to undertake continued professional development including safeguarding training. Be a team player who is able to communicate well with children and staff
Be committed to the school and will contribute to all aspects of school life
Have a full driving license and be willing to drive the school minibus
