Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join our growing team as a Trade Counter Assistant.
You will join a well-established company within our industry.
Within this role, you will be a representative of your branch. To assist with the needs of our customers, making sure that they are dealt with quickly and professionally at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
To ensure that all customers are served in a promote and professional manner.
Reliability, good timekeeping & attendance.
Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
Process orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized trade counter area.
Provide product information and recommendations to customers.
Assist with inventory management and restocking products as needed.
Managing deliveries to the branch, checking items in and ensuring they are both correct and in good condition, highlighting and raising any issues immediately.
Smart appearance.
Ability to work alone, within a team, and under supervision
To share responsibility with the Management for your training & development.

Skills, knowledge, Experience.
Eligible to work in the UK
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work within a fast-paced environment
Good organisational skills and IT literate.
Knowledge of the Industrial door products is a plus – Training will be given.
The use of hand tools and chop saws – Training will be given.
Some physical work with lifting and moving of stock.
Excellent phone etiquette for answering calls and taking messages.
Time management skills to prioritize tasks to meet our customer's needs.
On-the-job training will be given – we invest in our people.
Current counterbalance forklift license desirable.
