About the role
At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. So, during your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely. We also recognise that life looks a little different for each of us. Some people are at the start of their careers, some want the freedom to do the things they love. Others are going through life-changing moments like becoming a carer, nearing retirement, adapting to parenthood, or something else. That’s why at Tesco, we always welcome a conversation about flexible working. So, talk to us throughout your application about how we can support.
Tesco is the biggest private employer in the UK and as such, this is an opportunity to engage a large and diverse audience. You would join at an exciting juncture as we’re transforming the way we reach colleagues, with our digital comms platform.
The Senior Colleague Campaign Manager is responsible for inspiring our colleagues around Tesco’s purpose. This role sits in the Internal Communications team, which is part of the wider Group Communications function. Working within a fast-paced, down-to-earth, and high-performing team, you will create insight-driven, proactive campaigns which influence colleague advocacy for Tesco as a place to work and shop.
You’ll report to the Head of Colleague Campaigns and work closely with Content & Delivery Managers, using insights to ensure your campaign lands with simple and impactful messaging appropriate for the right target audience.
You will be responsible for
- Year-long planning of campaigns and content for targeted colleague audiences, supporting business priorities rooted in Tesco’s purpose.
- Managing creative teams (including external agencies), working to a budget, and evaluating proposals against your creative brief
- Liaising with business stakeholders and building relationships, using your network to achieve best possible outcomes.
- Managing the Online community – publishing digital content, reviewing, and responding to user generated content and comments against your campaigns
- Working closely with Content & Delivery Manager for quality control and consistency of execution
You will need
- To be a collaborative team player, bringing stakeholders on the journey with your ideas
- To be a communications expert, with proven experience of developing successful internal digital campaigns that meet measurable targets.
- To use insights to maximise the impact of your campaigns.
- Excellent content judgement, to work accurately and at pace, with competing demands.
