About the QA Technologist job

The purpose of your role as QA Technologist is to ensure that the requirements for both BRC certification and customers are met plus maintain the standards for product safety, legality, traceability, quality, hygiene, and housekeeping.

Key tasks

Conduct daily quality audits, control factory forms, and ensure accuracy in production records, traceability studies, and mass balance.

Perform incoming goods checks, allergen/microbiological sampling, GMP audits, hygiene inspections, and monitor calibration of equipment.

Train staff on work instructions, monitor the training matrix, and ensure adherence to safety procedures, reporting breaches to management.

Investigate internal non-conformances and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions and ensuring staff are informed.

About You

A recent food science (or related) graduate or someone stepping up from a production role.
