Crynodeb
Provide clinical and non-clinical support to the Multi-professional team under the direction of an appropriate Registered Health Care Professional. Deliver direct and indirect care under the direction of an appropriate Registered Health Care Professional. Deliver effective healthcare to patients/ service users. Undertake unsupervised aspects of care and therapeutic intervention as delegated by the Registered Health Care Professional within an agreed protocol, sphere of responsibility and after completing appropriate competency based training agreed by the Trust. Implement maternity care programmes within Antenatal Services Communicate appropriate information to women and their families The role involves carrying out both indirect and direct care of pregnant women both in the antenatal clinics, the ultrasound department and fetal medicine. This may be supervised or unsupervised within an agreed guideline. The role involves supporting the women and their families and also the midwives and implementing maternity and fetal care programmes within the maternity services under the direction of registered professionals. There is some clerical work and filing and the ability to use a computer is essential.
