Salary/ Pay rate/ Benefits: £51.15 per hour Umbrella/£40.90 per hour PAYE plus £100 per diem Umbrella/£85.80 per diem PAYE is payable to workers travelling more than 30 miles to site
Location: Reading
Hours of work: 12 hour day shifts. 11 on/ 3 off (66 hours per week)
Applicants must have posses the following:
- Minimum ONC in Electrical/Electronic engineering
- IET wiring Regulations BS7671 (IEE 17th Edition) trained
- IOSH managing safely certified
- CSCS/ECS Card in relevant discipline
- 10 years electrical experience
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry
- Able to gain SC clearance
Ideally applicants should also have:
- Site installation/maintenance experience
Role information:
- Ensure activities such as audits are undertaken to supervise electrical installation/maintenance activities
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to
- Assist in the resolution of problems or disputes
- Promote communication between those under your supervision to ensure efficient and effective execution of works
- Liaise with client or contractors on any necessary matters
- Ensure auditable records are kept
- Ensure only competent personnel are undertaking work
- Ensure method statements and implemented quality plans are followed
- Ensure documents are produced and maintained in a timely manner
- Assess any training needs and undertake appropriate action
