Crynodeb

The University of Bolton is a “Teaching Intensive, Research Informed” higher education institution whose distinctive high quality, student-focused, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes attract students from all over the world.

Our staff are at the heart of everything we do: they are highly qualified and experienced in their fields, supporting their teaching practice by carrying out quality research and engaging in continuous professional development. Our staff pride themselves on being outstanding professionals that provide excellent learning, teaching and applied research and support in the provision of custom-designed, industry led courses in numerous subject areas.

We are looking to appoint an associate lecturer for a new post, working with the Central Apprenticeship Team. The post holder will prepare and deliver all academic components relating to the new Entry to Higher Education Apprenticeship Programme (EHEAP) and contribute to the effective management of and organisation of the programme management functions in liaison with a wide range of internal and external agencies. You will plan, deliver, and assess the EHEAP programme to (up to) three cohorts of learners in the first year, and will contribute to the successful initial advice and guidance signposting EHEAP graduates to appropriate degree apprenticeships programmes at the University of Bolton.

Relevant teaching and programme delivery experience, such as working on the planning and delivery of academic skills programmes, or Access to HE (level 3) programmes, as well as being able to undertake appropriate subject specific research and/or advanced creative practice and/or enterprise activity is essential. Job share for the right candidates will be considered.
