We are currently looking for an experienced Health and Safety Trainer to join our growing team.
As part of Greenlight Safety and Training, you'll deliver various training at our centres in Plymouth and at customer venues across the south west.
Primarily the training will be construction safety and work activity related, with the opportunity for further development.
Preferably you will be a registered trainer with CITB, IOSH and UKATA, however experience and qualification dependent as these can be applied for. A work history within the construction sector is essential.
You will need to have a strong understanding of the MS office suites, particularly PowerPoint and Word.
Although the role will be primarily as a trainer, there will be some requirements to assist with other elements of the business, including consultancy and site inspections.
Main Duties
Delivering training courses at our inhouse training centre but also may be required to deliver occasional training offsite
Deliver and develop accredited and in-house Health and Safety Training, such as CITB, IOSH, UKATA, Proqual and Highfield
Develop and deliver practical courses, such as disc cutter and banksperson.
Complete and mark assessments, whilst maintaining awarding body requirements and assist with annual audits.
Liaise with customers to identify their specific requirements and help with any funding opportunities.
Preparing all paperwork and handouts for training events.
Becoming part of the IQA team to monitor existing and nurture new trainers and assessors.
Essential Individual Requirements
NEBOSH Construction / or Equivalent as a minimum
Level 3 Education and Training Award Teaching Qualification or equivalent
Verifiable construction experience at management level
Proven experience of delivering Health and Safety Training
Driving Licence
