Role Overview
The recruitment consultant’s role is to identify and secure job opportunities within client organisations. A recruitment consultant may focus on the supply of flexible workers, permanent placements or a combination of both. Typical responsibilities for a recruitment consultant are:
Duties
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Utilise available platform in recruiting the right candidate.
Conduct lead generation activities to identify potential candidates and clients.
Engage in relationship management with clients to understand their hiring needs and culture.
Screen resumes and conduct interviews to assess candidate suitability.
Maintain accurate records of candidates throughout the recruitment process using AI tools.
Manage social media platforms to promote job openings and engage with potential candidates.
Requirements
Proven experience in recruitment or human resources is highly desirable.
Strong lead generation skills and experience using ATS tools such as Salesforce.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
Demonstrated relationship management skills to foster long-term connections with clients and candidates.
Experience in social media management for recruitment purposes is an advantage.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge:
Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Recruitment or Level 3 Certificate in Recruitment Practice.
Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Recruitment.
Apprentices without level 2 English, and Maths will need to achieve this prior to taking the end point assessment.
