We currently have a vacancy within Guinness Property for a Roofers Mate based in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have previous roofing experience and will have experience of working at heights.
To be considered for this post you will need to live within 20 miles of Sheffield to ensure we can get to our customers in a timely manner.
What we’re looking for
We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. Reporting to the Service Manager you’ll be required to assist the Roofer and carry out remedial works to a high quality, ensuring that a customer focused maintenance repairs service is delivered.
You’ll also be able to demonstrate:
A proven ability to carry out minor remedial roofing works to a competent standard such as (but not limited to) guttering and slate replacement, minor leaks.
Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.
A proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
The ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
The ability to operate safely having taken into account any environmental circumstances and possible risks including working at height(s).
Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.
Desirable:
Health and Safety Knowledge.
Excellent organisation and time management skills.
Experience of working within the social housing sector
