Your Role

The post holder needs to be a dynamic and committed individual ready to be an active member of a supportive team. They will contribute to the changes we are making to improve our offer of safeguarding support to the people we serve. You will ensure the six safeguarding principles of the Care Act are central to your practice and help Stockport uphold and imbed the making safeguarding personal agenda at the heart of safeguarding. and champion the voice of the individual.

The post holder will need good analytical skills, report writing skills and experience of undertaking Care Act section 42 Safeguarding enquiries. You will also need to evidence experience of risk management and multiagency working

About You

Are you passionate about safeguarding adults at risk?
Are you interested in working in partnership with adults to manage risk and develop protection plans to prevent harm occurring as a result of abuse or neglect.
Keeping the person at the centre of all decisions about them.
Do you have an enquiring mind and an ability to link information and understand patterns of behaviour to inform your practice and understanding of abuse in all its forms?
