Summary
An exciting opportunity has come up at Tameside and Glossop CAMHS for a 0.5 WTE job share of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist postThis is to cover for Maternity leave and is a temporary post
You will be working in a multi disciplinary CAMHS team in a diverse borough
You will be expected to take on a managerial component to the role as well as clinical lead
To lead the delivery of evidence based care pathways and psychological interventions for a range of childhood emotional health and wellbeing issues across the local system. To support whole system transformation and lead programmes of change that ensure that the principles of iThrive recommendations are delivered within the locality. Ensure the systematic provision of high quality clinical psychology and psychological interventions in the multidisciplinary team for the child and family population of the locality, across all sectors of care.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service. Embed a local culture of early intervention and develop the recovery and self-management agenda within all sectors involved in the care and support of children, young people and families.
To ensure that systems are in place in working effectively for the clinical and professional supervision and support of all psychologists/therapists within the sector for which the post holder has designated professional and managerial responsibility. Ensuring that there are robust systems of support and supervision across the local pathways and outcomes for CYP and the health and social care system are robustly monitored and evaluated. This includes clear processes for effective recruitment, professional appraisal, and the identification of CPD needs across the service/sector.
