A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong and experienced Group Relief Manager to become part of our team.

What are we looking for?

Working closely with the Operations Management Team and Senior Management team, ensuring the quality and compliance to current best practice and regulatory requirements across the Homes.

Assisting the Operations Management team in supporting the Homes to deliver the service in line with action plans and key objectives and KPIs. Providing strong leadership by supporting, empowering, and inspiring managers to deliver business objectives, action plans, KPIs and operate in accordance with company ethos.

Assisting the Operations Management team in the provision of coaching support to Home Mangers, Deputies, Nurses, and Senior Health Care Assistants to ensure that the team achieves their full potential and to aid succession planning.

To actively support continuous compliance with the CQC, local authorities and internal policies and procedures with a view to consistently raising standards to meet and exceed regulatory requirements within the Homes.

To lead on complaints when required to do so, advising, and supporting Managers where required, whilst ensuring that complaints are followed up and lessons learnt implemented.

As directed by the Operations Management Team, to carry out unannounced visits to the homes, including late evenings, nights, and weekends so as to ensure a balanced view of the Homes is seen, providing feedback to Management on findings.

Provide support with the induction of new managers and supervisions of managers as directed by the Operations management team, engaging, developing, and embedding best practice as well as compliance for a range of care initiatives.

To act as relief manager within the Homes as required in accordance with business needs. This could be within any Home across the group.



Ongoing training opportunities and full CPD support
This role would be for 40 hours per week and would be subject to the receipt of two satisfactory job references plus an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) background check and may include covering occasional evenings, weekends, nights, bank holidays.
