Pay Rate: £13.58 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Role Length: This opening assignment is for 2-3 months

Basic DBS disclosure required for this role
The specific purpose of the post of the Estate Caretaker is primarily to provide a high quality and responsive estate caretaking service to meet organisational targets for performance in landscape, grounds and property maintenance works.
The Estate Caretaker will contribute towards effective upkeep and maintenance of all landscape, common and grounds maintenance areas, thus ensuring an attractive area for local resident and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Grass cutting of front & side gardens, backcourts and open spaces as required. Maintain Trees, shrubs and beds to common and garden areas.
Clean backcourt, bin areas and paved areas weekly or more frequently as required.
Removing bulk from backcourts and open spaces areas.
Clean and maintain all landscaped areas including slabs, surrounds, removing and dumping furniture and rubbish as required.
Sweeping stairs and wash stairs and walls in common closes.
Cleaning window sills, windows and railings in the common close.
Work occasionally from heights from scaffold platform, ladders or mechanical equipment.
Moss and graffiti removal.
Removing graffiti from close and stair walls. This may require painting the area / section of the wall that has graffiti.
Qualifications:
Relevant qualification.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role, or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.
Experience in manual working environment.
Experience of ground maintenance or commercial cleaning works.
An awareness of H&S in relation to functions of the job.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
