An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family and Attendance Support Worker to join Cobden Primary School on a fixed term basis until August 2025 to cover a period of maternity leave. We are looking for an experienced, proactive and committed individual to work in partnership with parents and carers, pupils, staff and the local community. The key focus of the role will be ensuring that all children are able to thrive in their educational and personal journey whilst at Cobden Primary School, enabling them to become ‘the best version of themselves’. We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, who is able to motivate others and has a commitment to maintaining high standards of achievement for all pupils, recognising individuals whilst embracing equality and diversity. Within this role, we are looking for someone who is familiar and confident in supporting families at all levels. The role will also have key responsibilities of attendance support, behaviour management, pupil wellbeing and safeguarding at whole school level. This role is a rewarding one with the successful candidate having the opportunity to join a vibrant, multi-cultural school community where pupils are motivated to learn and behave well. You will have the opportunity to work alongside our excellent team and be part of our flourishing wider Cobden community. Cobden Primary School has great transport links with the train station a 5 minute walk away.
