The Facilities Operations Manager is a role dedicated to the delivery of FM services and communication with key stakeholders within the Fulfilment Centre, Warehouse & Office complex of a high-end, global leader in prestige beauty.
The site - based in Fareham - is under plans for closure by 2026. Therefore, this role is a fantastic opportunity for a person who is either looking to develop - or improve their existing - demobilisation, Project Management and People Management skills and experience.
This role lives and breathes a high-touch customer service outlook. With Hard FM, Reception, Post Room, Cleaning and Security services on site, the Facilities Operations Manager is the responsible person for all services and the communication of related activities with site stakeholders.
Job Overview
The Facilities Operations Manager candidate will set and maintain high standards of service output and customer engagement so that Client expectations are consistently exceeded, ensuring the high-quality delivery of all FM services, to guarantee a positive user experience throughout the estate.
This person will be the key point of contact for Clients and Customers; for resolving any questions, queries or issues and liaising with the Head of FM as required for escalation, feedback and support.
Ensuring compliance activities are taking place across site, planned PPM works are delivered, and monthly reactive billing is completed timely and accurately, are some of the key deliverables in this role.
Based in Fareham, with occasional travel to London (travel away from Fareham is paid for). Every 6 months, a gift box of products are provided (after a minimum of 6 months service) to all Mitie colleagues based on the account.
As we work collaboratively with Estée Lauder on their closure plan, the Facilities Operations Manager will be pivotal in managing and co-ordinating related projects, HR consultations and team engagement.
What we are looking for
The ideal candidate should be resilient and confident in dealing with people at all levels. You should also be able to handle several conflicting priorities; have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and a high level of IT literacy.
Furthermore, it is imperative to have knowledge of Hard and Soft Services; experience in financial management (budgeting and billing); and an ability to work closely within an existing Governance Framework.
