Job vacancy for Ofsted Registered Manager in Kent required for immediate start.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and promote the care service delivered to high standards expected by Ofsted.
Contribute to the young person's care plans and risk assessments, reviews and implementation.
Form effective relationships with the children and their families (where required) and external agencies.
Ensure the home is kept clean and tidy, and encourage the young people to participate as appropriate.
Ensure records are up to date and maintained as required with supervision and advice from superiors.
Contribute to each young person's educational and social development and assist them with their Education Programs.
Meet the emotional and physical needs of the young residents and maximise opportunities for their development.
Provide support to the manager of the home whilst on shift and performing senior duties as directed.
Requirements:
Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent.
Level 5 Diploma in Childcare qualification or in training will be considered.
Experience in a children's home setting.
Ability to contribute to the Ofsted registration process.
Full, UK driving licence (an advantage).
Ofsted registered (preferred but not compulsory).
