Crynodeb
- To undertake planned preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of medical equipment for NHS and private organizations within the county of Gloucestershire - To support senior Medical Engineering staff in planning and executing service and repair visits and other projects when requested - To undertake and update training on a variety of medical equipment, to include electrical, mechanical, electro - mechanical and medical gas systems - To technically train Medical Engineering staff when requested - To supervise and assist members of Medical Engineering staff when requested - Technically analyse medical equipment that has been involved in an adverse clinical incident, liaising with clinical staff, manufacturers and team leaders to provide a detailed technical report - Assist in medical equipment trials, evaluation and selection by advising on the technical specification, purchasing, training, maintenance, repair and disposal - Accurately use computer skills to operate the various I.T. systems within Medical Engineering in order to record activity and equipment details ensuring that the information is accurate for both customer and managerial needs
