CRDN UK is a leading textile restoration and dry cleaning partner to major insurers across the UK. We are looking for a dry cleaning assistant to join our friendly team and work in our Molesey operation. No formal qualifications are required, but experience within the general laundry industry is preferable. The successful candidate will receive on-the-job training.
Please note - DBS checks will be carried out on all applicants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport goods and textiles between the plant and various locations.
- Ensure timely deliveries to clients, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times.
- Handle and load/unload textiles with care to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signing off on completed deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during pick-ups and deliveries.
- Assist with other duties at the plant as required, including light warehouse tasks.
Qualifications:
- Valid manual UK driving license
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a similar industry.
- Good knowledge of the local area and navigation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
