Fife Council are looking to recruit 2 Care Assistants, to be based in Cowdenbeath, Fife.
Description
About the Role
The main duties involved in the role will include:
Promoting social inclusion by working with people to maximise their personal independence, health and wellbeing to access opportunities in their local communities.
Providing positive support and encouragement for people to make their own choices and decisions in all aspects of their daily lives.
Undertaking a range of personal/physical care tasks when required by assisting with eating, drinking, administering medication, continence, dressing and any other tasks in accordance with the support plan.
Required Skills
Communication skills.
Ability to be innovative and creative
Ability to work in a flexible way
Ability to work within a team
Basic IT skills (Embrace technology & information)
Required Qualification Level
Must have, or be willing to achieve in the first period of registration, the Social Services & Healthcare SCQF Level 6 ( equivalent to SVQ 2) or equivalent to meet Scottish Social Services Council registration.
Must have an adult PVG
