Summary

The Role
We are seeking two Transformation Business Partners. 1 x Adult Services and 1 x Place and Corporate Services.
This role is pivotal to the council's strategic goals of improving service delivery and efficiency through innovative transformation projects.
Its purpose is to partner with specific service departments to design and implement change programmes, ensuring that the right support structures are in place for successful delivery. This involves identifying opportunities for improvement, shaping and driving strategic transformation initiatives, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the council. Additionally, it involves supporting the council in tracking value and return on investment across the assigned service departments.
Key activities will include:
- Strategic Transformation Planning and Implementation - Develop and oversee the execution of department-specific transformation strategies, ensuring alignment with broader council objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Support - Act as a primary liaison between the business improvement team and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
- Change Management - Guide departments through change processes, providing support and resources to manage transitions effectively.
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting - Track progress against transformation goals, providing regular updates to senior management and adjusting strategies as needed.
- Training and Development - Organise training sessions and workshops to upskill department staff in change management and continuous improvement practices.
- Policy and Compliance Oversight - Ensure that transformation initiatives comply with relevant laws, regulations, and council policies.
About You
The post holder will drive forward special projects and initiatives to implement transformation so will have strong project management skills to ensure they can support delivery and change throughout the organisation.
