Summary
Quality Control Professional
The Ashton Group were established in 1866 and are distributors of Seals, Gaskets, Fasteners and Engineering Products.
As a leading distributor of sealing solutions to varied sectors and a manufacturer of gaskets and plastic packaging we are seeking a Quality Professional from a manufacturing / production environment.
Requirements
• Previous experience of rubber materials would be desirable.
• Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2000 and trained in internal auditing.
• Maintaining quality manuals and associated documents.
• Responsibility for the generation, monitoring and reporting of KPIs.
• Resolve product related problems and supplier quality issues. Non conformance/8D reporting.
• Day to day management of all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and associated documentation.
• Good communication and reporting skills between shop floor and senior management.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS, REACH, ROHS, ISO18001, ISO 14001 and Aerospace AS 9120 would be desirable.
• Ability to manage the operations/facilities requirements for the business.
Hours of business 8.30 - 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Part-Time Applicants will be considered.
