To ensure that the GDPR/ Data Protection Act recommendations relating to the provision of information is always followed. Maintenance of database systems to assist the Trust in auditing information systems for the accurate recording of all patient activity. Update the Trust information system to correct data errors or complete missing information in patient records to include demographics and activity data. Obtain information from external and internal sources to improve the completeness of the Trusts data. Validate and assess the standard of data making corrections, advising on findings, and carrying out further investigations of issues, working with appropriate Trust managers. Assist with data requests from clinicians and other UHCW colleagues ensuring data analysis is presented as needed to support service improvement, audit, and research within the MTC. To undertake any other reasonable NMTR relevant duties as required. Including covering the work of colleagues during periods of absence or peak workloads. Provide help and support to colleagues within the department as required. Ensure all processes have written current procedures and that they are followed and always maintained. Participate in appraisals and personal reviews and work to achieve agreed set objectives. Participate in appropriate training and development activities, to include specific software training to ensure continued development of IT skills For further details of the role please see the attached job description.
