Job Description

Post Title: ICT Project Support Officer (2 vacancies)
Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: 1 year from start date
Salary: £27,554 - £30,175 p.a.

Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: The post holder will work as part of the Web Project Team, supporting activity with the Council’s business units as part of the Council’s wider Transformation programme, assisting the review, design, build and delivery of content on the Council website.

The team is playing a critical part in the Council’s work to digitally transform service delivery as part of the Council’s Delivery Plan 2024-2027 – specifically the My Council Programme, within which we are upgrading and updating the Council website. The Web Support Officers will play a key role in supporting this programme in order that the required business outcomes are achieved in line with the Councils strategic requirements. They will engage with teams across the Council to support and guide them in best practice for web content writing to ensure it is easily understood by readers, accurate, accessible, meets user needs and meets Council web standards.

This post is suitable for hybrid working with an expectation that the post holder will be, on average, physically present in the office 3 days per week in order to be able to effectively carry out the requirements of the role.
