Full time 4 day Nanny role in Wolverton, Tadley RG26
This is a wonderful opportunity for a warm and nurturing nanny to join a family long term in a beautiful countryside setting. Care will be required Monday to Thursday 8am to 7pm. (The family are able to offer 3 days of 7am-7pm if this is preferred). The family have two children, a 6 month old baby boy and a 4 ½ year old little girl.
The children’s Mother is currently on Maternity leave and will be returning to work in May 2025. This role will be a mix of sole charge and shared care as their Mother works from home and does enjoy being hands on, when her diary permits. Whilst the Nanny will sometimes work in shared care, there is also the intention to divide and conquer as a team at times e.g. If the little girl is collected from school by her mother, the nanny will be in sole charge of the baby.
Duties will include, full nursery duties, planning suitable activities for both ages, attending local groups and classes for baby, cooking and batch cooking for the children. School runs, as well as ensuring everything is organised and available for the children’s meals each week. During the school holidays there will be more scope to plan fun activities and trips for both children.
This position would be suitable for someone who has a very caring, gentle and loving nature whilst being able to maintain good boundaries and routines, which the family already have in place. The right candidate will be organised, fun and active with experience in caring for these ages of children. A level 3 in childcare or above is important, and the candidate must be able to drive. An automatic nanny car will be provided for use whilst on duty.
The family may be able to offer additional hours or babysits, however these will of course be optional depending on the nanny’s availability. They are also happy to fund the nanny’s ongoing professional development should they feel any additional training would be beneficial to them.

Minimum experience Level for this job: 2 years (must have experience of both ages)

Job Start Date: January 2025, however the family can be very flexible on this for the right person
Pay: £18 gross per hour, £3423 gross per month, £41,184 gross per annum. The family can offer some flexibility for the perfect candidate.
