Job description
RCCG Turning Point, England is seeking to employ a Minister of Religion (Youth Pastor/Leader) with immediate effect.
The candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing all youth ministry activities and initiatives. The role focuses on building strong relationships with young people (ages 12-25), providing spiritual guidance, organizing outreach events, and creating programs that engage the youth in the church and community. The ideal candidate must be a dynamic individual, ready to meet youth's spiritual, emotional, and social needs while promoting a Christ-centered lifestyle.
Responsibilities
Spiritual Leadership and Mentorship:
• Lead youth worship services, Bible studies, other youth activities.
• Provide biblical teaching and create discipleship opportunities to encourage spiritual growth.
• Offer personal mentorship and counseling to youth as needed.
• Encourage youth to participate in church activities and volunteer opportunities.
2. Outreach and Evangelism:
• Develop strategies to reach unchurched youth in the community.
• Organize youth-focused outreach programs, events, and community service projects.
• Engage youth through digital platforms, social media, and relevant technology.
3. Program Development and Coordination:
• Plan and execute regular youth meetings, retreats, camps, and mission trips.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where all youth feel welcomed.
• Collaborate with church leadership to align youth ministry goals with the overall mission of the church.
• Train and oversee youth ministry volunteers and leadership teams.
4. Administrative Duties:
• Manage the youth ministry budget and ensure the proper allocation of resources.
• Maintain accurate records of youth participation, program effectiveness, and event outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with church leadership about the state of the youth ministry.
Qualifications
Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to living a Christ-centered life.
• Experience working with youth in a church or ministry setting.
• Passion for youth outreach and discipleship.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially when connecting with youth.
• Ability to use social media, technology, and other platforms to engage young people.
• Bachelor’s degree and or Diploma in any field
The role is full-time working with the youths within and outside the church as may be assigned. Church Location, 429-431 Rainham Road, South Dagenham, Dagenham RM10 8XE
