Job Title: Customs Key Account Manager
Location: Dover
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 Per Annum DOE
We are seeking a skilled Customs Key Account Manager to join our client, based in Dover, on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in Account Management, Retention, and Sales, with at least 3 years of Customs and Road Freight knowledge.
This role will be working Monday-Friday, 8-hour days shifts.
As the Customs Key Account Manager, you will..
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and solve problems while maintaining accurate customer and key account data
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision makers and manage periodic customer meetings to address concerns
- Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to increase revenue from key accounts
- Upsell products to existing customers and generate new business by prospecting and developing leads
- Ensure adherence to customer SLAs/KPIs and oversee intelligence reporting to analyse trends, market insights, and performance
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Customs and Road Freight knowledge and experience
- Proven background in Account Management, Retention, or Sales
- Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a valid passport
- Strong skills in MS Office and process optimisation
- Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
