Summary
There are children in Monmouthshire who are in desperate need of caring people to foster them. We are looking for a Foster Carer Recruitment Officer to work as part of Monmouthshire’s Fostering Team. If you are creative, have great people and communication skills and are good at organising events, this may be the ideal job for you.
You will understand the importance of recruiting and retaining excellent foster carers. Your excellent communication and people skills will enable you to work with internal and external partners and lead work in promoting fostering for the Local Authority to individuals and communities who may be considering fostering for the first time, or who are currently fostering for Independent Fostering Agencies and may be considering their options. You will also understand how to collect, collate and analyse data and how to use this to drive a Foster Carer Recruitment Strategy and Implementation plan.
