PS Recruitment currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our Clients care home based in Stockport. This home offers therapeutic care to children with learning disabilities so previous experience in a similar home would be advantageous. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an Ofsted rated ‘good’ home. The home is a 4 bed home and is running at half capacity at the moment. Previous experience managing to Ofsted compliance is essential for this position. A minimum of a level 3 qualification in health and social care will be required for this position. If you are a Deputy manager with over 3 years experience and you are looking to progress your career this could be a great position for you. Duties of this role of Registered Home Manager will include:
Promoting the delivery of an Ofsted compliant home
Building key relationships with staff, young people, families and stake holders
Ensuring all safeguarding standards are met at all times
Ensuring the staff are aware of each individuals needs and are offered the support required to aid development
Looking after all financial aspects of the home
Creating development plans
Encouraging staff development
Managing the recruitment for the home.
Maintain a clean and safe home at all times
Creating development plans for each individual
Offering out of hours support
The successful Registered Home Manager must:
Have previous management experience either as deputy or registered
Be willing o undertake and role out any training necessary
Be self motivated
Have worked to Ofsted guidelines
Have excellent written and verbal communication
Be a minimum of level 3 trained
