Support Worker

Pay from £11.44 per hour
PS Recruitment are recruiting experienced support workers based in the north west to work with some of our fantastic clients. The successful support worker must have a minimum of 1 years experience or 6 months experience and a recognised qualification in Health and Social care. This role will require flexibility around availability as shifts include evening, daytime, weekends, and sleep in’s (there are no waking nights). Experience working with both adults and children would be beneficial. A valid UK driving licence would be preferred but not essential This is a temporary ongoing position however our clients are looking for full time and permanent staff. Duties of this role of support worker will include:
Administering medication
Personal Care
Community support
Creating a relaxed atmosphere
Preparing Meals, Beverages and snacks for service users
Being an active member of the team
Adhering to all procedures whilst on site (GDPR, fire safety etc)
The successful support worker must
Have 1 years experience in social care or 6 months experience with a recognised qualification
Be caring and attentive
Be understanding
Have great communication skills – Both written and verbal
