About the Role:
CKP Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Class 1 Wagon and Drag Vacuum Tanker Operator for our client based in Penrith. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced driver with a full, up-to-date licence and entitlements to join a reputable company in the liquid waste transportation sector. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a wagon and drag vacuum tanker, transporting liquid waste to and from various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a Class 1 wagon and drag vacuum tanker to transport liquid waste
Perform daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations
Efficiently load and unload liquid waste at designated sites
Comply with DVSA regulations and maintain accurate tachograph records
Ensure that all Health and Safety protocols are followed during operations
Work independently, using your own initiative, while also maintaining high standards of communication with the team and customers
Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly
Requirements:
Full UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence with wagon and drag entitlement
Up-to-date Driver CPC Card
Digital Tachograph Card
Previous experience operating a vacuum tanker is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
A strong commitment to Health and Safety standards
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your time
Excellent communication and customer service skills
