We are looking for an excellent candidate to lead and manage Digital Technical Services with the Trust, including IT, Networks and Voice Services. To act as lead for all elements of the Technical infrastructure of the Trusts Digital Services ensuring it supports clinicians within the Trust in the provision of care to patients. The post holder will also represent the Trust in Regional and National groups for all technical elements of Information and Communications

The post holder will be part of the Senior Management Team within Digital Services, reporting to the Director of Digital.

The role will require the post holder to:

Develop and deliver a plan to ensure that the Trust has a robust technical Digital infrastructure across all sites and that Clinical and non-clinical staff are able access systems and data to support patient care. implement new technology to support and expand systems to work seamlessly across all sites. Support the Director of Digital in developing The Trusts Digital Strategy by developing the underpinning Digital Technology plans and deputise for the Director of Digital when required.

Be responsible for developing and maintaining the Technical Infrastructure for Voice and Data within the Trust. This includes ensuring that key ICT systems and services are available where they are required to support patient care.

Act as the trust expert on the Technical Infrastructure for Voice and Data, developing the overall Technical architecture working to national standards wherever possible taking into account local ICS needs across Derbyshire and Staffordshire.
