Come work for us as a Health Care Assistant in Sexual Health
We are looking for a full time health care assistant in our busy Sexual Health Clinic in Watford Clinic. Sexual Health Hertfordshire is commissioned to deliver genitourinary medicine, contraception care within the community. If this interests you, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Please note, this is a permanent contract vacancy.
Desired skills for this role include:
• Care Certificate or willingness to undertake.
• The ability to cope under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Empathic and a non-judgemental attitude.
• Teamwork.
• Venepuncture trained or willingness to learn.
Successful applicants will be offered training
The salary is AfC Band 3, Full time 37.5hrs per week
Assist in the provision of GUM/Contraception/HIV care to patients, supporting and supervised by a registered nurse.
Carry out assigned duties which maintain a quality clinical service, orderliness and safety of the departmental environment.
Fulfil any clerical duties.
To be flexible in the approach to the clinical area and provide cover for any area specified.
