Crynodeb

I & L Burnett Ltd are looking for experienced Class 1 CE HGV Drivers with a current ADR.We have positions for both Local Drivers as well as Mixed Local and UK Distance Drivers with potential opportunities to progress, if desired.

The applicant shall have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. They shall be a polite and hardworking individual who will bring a positive representation of the company by providing a first-class service to all customers.

The applicant shall be prepared to work flexible hours as required to fulfil customer requirements. This may include regular nights away from home.

Essential Skills

· Current DCPC & UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

· Current ADR.

· Good Communication Skills: Regular contact with the Transport Operator and Customers when required.

· Confident in Load Securing: Ratchet/Straps and Chains/Dwangs.

· Local Position: Geographical Knowledge of Aberdeen and Surrounding Area.

· Local and UK Distance Position: Geographical Knowledge of UK.

Preferred Skills

· Flatbed, Tautliner and Step Frame Experience.

· Roping and Sheeting Experience.

· Mechanical Fitting and General Repairs Experience.

· Forklift Experience.

· Multi-drop Experience.

· Banksman Slinger Experience.
