Summary
Carbon60 will soon require 6x Offshore Medics to join our client's team on a contract basis supporting Offshore Wind Farms in the UK.

Rotation: 2/2 (Possibly 4/4)
Start Date: October 2024
Duration: Up to 6-Months + Possible Extension
Rates: £520 Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS
Responsibilities:
- To review declared medicines and medical conditions to confirm if a person is suitable to board
- Provide treatments for everyday health concerns
- To provide medical treatment (with the support of 24hr tele medicine onshore support) for all persons injured at work
- Monitor the stock of medical equipment on board and re-order against an minimum stock/ equipment list
- Transfer to offshore assets to provide stabilisation treatment and support the recovery of injured persons who are unable to return to the mother vessel without medical treatment first.
- Deliver first aid familiarisation training - this is to prevent skill fade and therefore the medic does not need to be a registered trainer.
- Support medical response drills
Requirements:
- Full GWOs; Sea Survival, Manual Handling, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights
- UK HSE Offshore Medic Certificate (Will need to be a registered nurse, paramedic or army medic)
- Eligibility to work in the UK to be considered for these positions
