Summary

About the role

We are looking for a talented motivate digital solutions developer to join our team and deliver great things for Bury Council You will need to be highly motivated with a can-do attitude and look to innovate and grasp new technologies. Problem solving will be a big part of this role and you will need to work with others in the digital team to find solutions to help drive up the quality of service we offer. We are looking for someone willing to learn and someone who has a keen interest in technology and innovation. Ideally you will have experience of database administration, hardware administration and understand and have worked on integrations between systems. As a result of a full department restructure, we have several new posts and you will be joining an ambitious team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who work well with their teammates and wider organisation to provide the best possible service for Bury Council. You will be able to innovate and work through challenges with a positive attitude as we venture into new ways of working and delivering digital services.

The role is hybrid based at Town Hall but supports agile working

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week. Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
