Crynodeb
To work in outpatient clinics to manage Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and sexual health presentations (as agreed within local operating procedures and in keeping with national guidelines). The opportunity to work in the outpatient management of HIV infection (to a level agreed by the Consultants, and depending on previous clinical experience). The opportunity to acquire training and experience in the provision of contraception. Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times. Comply with the GMC Duties of a Doctor at all times. To work cohesively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high standard of sexual health medical care. Active participation in bi-monthly departmental clinical governance meetings. Accurate and up-to-date clinical coding Attendance and participation at weekly departmental teaching sessions and meetings.
