We have 3 positions available for a fixed term period of 12 months working full-time.
This is an exciting opportunity to support our information security programme. We are looking for three people who will play an essential role in developing and co-ordinating our compliance functions within the areas of internal audit, asset management, and risk assessment. The department hosts the SAIL Databank and the Secure eResearch Platform (SeRP), two world-leading data research programmes with the requirement to maintain exceptional standards in information security. High standards can only be upheld if the organisation demonstrates a strong commitment towards continual improvement, and these roles will be key in ensuring the delivery and effectiveness of that improvement programme. The posts will also provide the department with the capacity to oversee a range of information security functions and enhance our ability to monitor compliance to our international standards.
These roles will be based within our information security group and will work closely with our technical, research and business teams. The successful applicants to these roles will be those who can demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to finding areas for improvement and for supporting creative approaches to solving problems. Additionally, successful applicants will be able to champion information security principles, both through setting an excellent example through their own practices and supporting others.
If you’re a proactive, compliance-driven individual looking to make a positive difference in a dynamic research environment, we would welcome your application.
