At Gi Group we are recruiting for Trainee Machine Setter to work with our client based in Cheltenham (GL51). Temporary to Permanent position with potential for progression.
* Location - Cheltenham - GL51
* Pay rate - £12.20 per hour paid weekly, increasing once fully trained
* Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
* Friday: EARLY FINISH: 8am - 1pm
Main Responsibilities/Challenges
* Learning to set and operate equipment and machinery, perform tool changes and adjustments across the Cheltenham site.
* Full training given to assist and support skilled machine setters in day-to-day production.
* Quality conscious
* Work Safety and effectively
* Working on your own initiative
Background and Personal Qualities:
* This position would suit someone from a mechanical background, with opportunity to progress within a manufacturing business;
* Any previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous (not essential)
