The Holiday Inn at Wolverhampton Racecourse is looking for a Receptionist to join the team on Casual Terms. This is a challenging and exciting role for a passionate and dedicated person to join our team where you can really make a difference and be part of this exciting time in our business.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our guests so you will need to be friendly, professional and confident. You will be the person a guest turns to if they have any concerns or complaints and you’ll be empowered to make things right.

We’re looking for individuals who can really shine in a busy setting, who are comfortable and confident in meeting and engaging with new people and who have a passion for great customer service

Some of the Key Responsibilities

Checking customers in and out
Welcoming and directing all customers on site
Making and receiving telephone calls
Making and amending hotel reservations
Customer Service
Cash and credit card handling
In-house guest bill and room management
Some bar cover when required
Skills and Qualities

Strong, positive customer service skills
Be proficient with Microsoft packages
Previous experience in a customer service role is advantageous
Training will be given using the in-house systems
You will have a logical approach to solving problems
Have good time management and flexibility
